Media briefing of the secretary of the worldwide shrine of Ali al-Asghar (peace be upon him): unveiling the symbolic garment of the Chief of Martyrs (peace be upon him) and the banner of Mahdi's revolution (may God expedite his advent).

In his media briefing today, Davoud Manafi Pour reported on the conference of Husseini infants and holding 8,000 conferences in Iran and 45 countries around the world. And in the second part of his speech, regarding the issue of symbolism, he said:

On Ashura, two things rose to the sky: 1. the blood of Ali al-Asghar, and 2. The garment of the Chief of Martyrs (peace be upon him).

At the Assembly of Shia Pulpit Elites, which took place last year, we presented extensive research on the garment. This assembly, which was held under the title "The Garment of the Chief of Martyrs (peace be upon him), the Banner of the Mahdi's Revolution (may God expedite his advent)," was attended by 190 people from 55 countries.

And by God's will, today we will reveal this symbolic garment.

To give an overview of this garment,

The age of this garment is as ancient as the creation itself; its source is from heaven, and this garment came down to accept Adam's forgiveness. The journey of this garment has passed through travels up to the Final Prophet, has reached 124,000 prophets, and has also come to Karbala. Before Karbala, this garment of Abraham the Friend was given by Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her) to Lady Zainab (peace be upon her), and she handed this garment to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) on the day of Ashura. This garment was taken from him on Ashura and then given back to him by the persistence of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him), and now this garment is with Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his relief).

According to narrations, on the first of Muharram, this garment trembles in the Divine Throne, and on the night of reappearance, Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his relief) will put on this garment and rise up with it. And we have decided to present this evidence of oppression to the world as the complete symbol of Ashura.

Reminding that the Shia lacked a symbol and that this garment, which was created by truth and not by human hands, can be the best symbol, he said: Research on this garment is accessible on the Atigh website, www.atigh.org, and I invite researchers to visit this site.

Finally, in reply to a reporter’s question about holding the main ceremony of the conference of suckling infants in Tehran, Manafi Pour declared: We have 364 ceremonies in Tehran, but for the same reasons stated last year, we do not have a main assembly in Tehran.
