The director of the seminaries sent a message to the Third Conference of Shia Minbar Elites.
According to Shafaqna, the text of Ayatollah Arafi’s message is as follows:
«بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
و فَدَیْناهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِیمٍ و لا حول و لا قوة إلا بالله العلی العظیم
The blessed existence of the Master of Martyrs, the grandson of the noble Prophet of Islam, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), is a celestial personality who stood with sacrifice and bravery, according to Islamic and human principles, to resist and fight against the oppression and tyranny of the despots of his time.
In the mournful event of Karbala, this revered Imam has forever influenced the history of humanity, demonstrating that faith, sacrifice, and bravery in defending truth and justice are valuable and vital. Not only do Shias, but also freedom-seekers throughout history, regard the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him) as a moral and spiritual role model for justice-seekers around the world. They place great importance on promoting the ethics and human values that Imam Hussein has guided us towards.
In this context, the blessed shirt of the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him) serves as a complete document and symbol of the bloodshed on Ashura, bravely spilled in the path of faith in the Almighty, steadfastness in the pursuit of truth, justice, and opposition to oppression. Reflecting on this encyclopedia of endurance at this juncture provides an opportunity for an in-depth cultural and historical analysis of the Ashura event, allowing us to seek justice for that oppressed figure without causing any division among the Muslims of the world. Through this path, the knowledge and truths that the blessed existence sacrificed for can be conveyed to the people of the world.
I extend my gratitude to all the scholars, poets, elegists, writers, reciters, artists, and intellectuals who, through their pens, art, and words, have contributed to the global recognition of this authentic Shia symbol. I also request the benevolent prayers of the participants of the Third Conference of Shia Minbar Elites, who have gathered from various nationalities in the sacred land of Karbala. I hope that in the near future, with the joyous appearance of the avenger of the family of Allah (peace be upon them), we will once again unite under this banner. By raising the shirt of Hussein (peace be upon him), oppression, injustice, and inequity will be eradicated from the entire world, and all the oppressed, especially the suffering people of Gaza, will taste the sweet essence of Husaini life.
